About DimWeightPro

What the tool is for

DimWeightPro helps online sellers, warehouse teams, and occasional shippers test a package before buying a label. Enter the packed outside dimensions, scale weight, quantity, and the DIM divisor from the applicable carrier guide or agreement. The calculator shows dimensional weight, the greater estimated billable weight, and cost estimates based only on rates entered in the calculator.

The box comparison feature can identify a smaller listed carton when the current package has low volume utilization. A suggestion is a packaging starting point, not a guarantee that the item, cushioning, or carrier requirements will fit.

How the guides are researched

Carrier-specific pages use linked first-party sources such as carrier guidance, service guides, and the USPS Domestic Mail Manual. The methodology and sources page explains how calculations and carrier claims are maintained. Published rules and negotiated contracts can change, so the current carrier quote or agreement remains authoritative.

What DimWeightPro is not

DimWeightPro is not a carrier, postal service, broker, or carrier billing system. It is not affiliated with DHL, FedEx, UPS, or USPS. It does not sell postage or promise a final shipping charge.
